Terms of Use

Welcome to PacketModifier! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our software and related services. By downloading, installing, or using the software, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, abstain from downloading or running our software.

Scope and Application

This agreement constitutes a binding legal agreement between you ("you" or "your") and FortDFied LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms apply to your use of the Software, which may include locally installed applications and online services ("Services"). Certain features of the Software require an internet connection to interact with our backend Services, such as license validation and updates. Your use of the Software is subject to compliance with these Terms, and any misuse, such as unauthorized distribution or sharing of license keys, is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of your license without notice. Furthermore, by "software" we are refering to the packaged entries contain with PacketModifier.

License Grant and Restrictions

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software, subject to the following restrictions:

  • Free Version Usage: You may use the free version of the Software for personal, non-commercial purposes. The free version cannot be repackaged, or resold.
  • Paid Version Usage: The paid version of the Software is licensed on a per-user basis. License keys are personal and may not be shared, distributed, or used by multiple individuals. Each license key is valid for a single user.
  • Organizational Licenses: Organizations requiring multi-user access must purchase an Organizational License. This license allows employees of the organization to use the Software for internal and commercial purposes, provided the Software is not repackaged, or resold.
  • Prohibited Uses: You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software. You may not use the Software for illegal activities or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
Violation of these restrictions may result in the suspension or termination of your license. License keys found to be in violation, including those shared among multiple users, are subject to immediate revocation.

Refund Policy

We aim to ensure customer satisfaction. Refunds for paid licenses are subject to the following:

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.
  • We reserve the right to deny refunds for repeated or fraudulent requests

Service Availability and Updates

Certain features of our paid version of the software will require an internet connection during the license activation and validation stage. After the initial activation and validation stage internet access will no longer be required. However, maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues may temporarily disrupt access during this activation and validation stage.

By using the Software, you acknowledge and agree that periodic updates may be required for continued functionality and that failure to update the Software may result in limited features or support.

Limitation of Liability

The Software and Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free or meet your specific requirements. In no event shall FortDFied LLC be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software.

Updates to the Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to you via email or through the Software. Continued use of the Software after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
